Against all odds
Hallo Ihr Lieben! Wir möchten uns, trotz - Corona Pandemie - USA-Wahlen und sonstigen "Katastrophen" nochmals bei Euch in Erinnerung
rufen. Dieses Jahr ist für uns alle ein aussergewöhnliches Jahr, aber wenn wir ehrlich sind, schaffen wir das alle doch ganz gut, trotz Mund-Nasen-Schutz Maske und bestimmten Einschränkungen. Für unser Projekt ist dieses Jahr ein ganz besonderes Jahr, denn natürlich sind viele Menschen selbst von der Pandemie betroffen, sei es beruflich oder auch privat. Unser Projekt lebt von Veranstaltungen, lebt von Unterstützern, lebt von Initiativen..lebt von Ideen..lebt von Mundpropaganda, lebt von Euch. Ohne Euch, ohne Eure Spenden, können wir den Menschen in Zambia nicht helfen. Und die Spendenbereitschaft....ja bei kleinen Initiativen ist diese massiv eingebrochen, bzw. zum Erliegen gekommen. Es stimmt uns sehr traurig, Aber es ist schwierig, dies zu ändern. Das ist uns selbst sehr bewusst, wenn man eigentlich selber gerade nicht weiss, wie es weitergehen wird oder soll. Traurig ist es auch, dass wir dieses Jahr nicht in Zambia sein konnten, dennoch haben wir Brunnen mit der Firma unseres Vertrauens bauen lassen können. Und das macht uns sehr glücklich. Wir sind sehr froh, dass uns letztes Jahr u.a. die BEA-Stiftung mit in ihr Spendenprogramm aufgenommen hat. Ihr könnt erkennen, wir haben schon 3.462 EUR über diese Plattform für unseren nächsten Brunnen sammeln können. Dies ist eine Zielerreichung von mehr als 50 %. Es fehlt also nur noch weniger als die Hälfte für unseren nächsten Brunnen. Frei nach unserem Motto: "Viele kleine Leute in vielen kleinen Orten, diie viele kleine Dinge tun, können das Gesicht der Welt verändern". Wir schwingen keine grossen Reden, sondern wünschen uns nur, dass Ihr uns und unser Projekt nicht vergesst. Die Menschen in Zambia, oder überhaupt in Afrika brauchen uns dringender denn je. Without you, without your donations, we cannot help the people in Zambia. And the willingness to donate .... yes, with small initiatives this has collapsed or come to a standstill. We are very saddened, but it is difficult to change that. We are very aware of this when we don't actually know how things will or should go on. It is also sad that we could not be in Zambia this year, but we were able to have wells built with the company we trust. And that makes us very happy. We are very happy that last year, among other things, the BEA Foundation has included in its donation program. You can see that we have already been able to collect 3,462 EUR for our next fountain via this platform. This is a target achievement of more than 50%. So only half is missing for our next well.
